Andy Coppock, CEO/CTO
Andy is a Research Scientist and co-founder of Bold Earth Scientific. He has 40 years experience in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, Laser Photonics, Applied Physics and Quantum Mechanics, and is a Master Machinist. Throughout the years his companies have developed new technologies that are driven by the Biomedical, Petrochemical and Aviation community’s current manufacturing limitations and frustrations. He takes the currently impossible projects and develops equipment, lasers, and “out of the box” methods to bring new technology to life.
He has served as professional witness and failure analyst for the U.S. Department of Interior, and designed fluid handling components and valves used in sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid and alkaline wastewater systems used in global petrochemical refining plants (Vena Conical Gate Valve U.S. Patent # 6517049)
Andy conducted laser photonics research and development for micromachining Nitinol (Nickel Titanium Alloy) and other exotic alloys. He developed new, ultrafast laser cavities and cutting equipment. developed electrochemical processing technology for Nitinol procedures and was involved in equipment development for Biomedical implant devices such as artificial heart valves, cardiovascular and neurovascular stents, as wekk as clot retrieval devices. His creations have allowed doctors and biomedical engineers to realize their ultimate designs, often turning napkin sketches to life saving, surgical implant ready devices.
Andy sees the world through mathematics, dreams in code, and teaches physics through practical examples and feelings. A lesson in gravitational dynamics is taught from the back of his sport bike on a twisty road or accelerometers mounted to his skateboard while riding in a drained pool.
The current global energy crisis along with a lifelong obsession with alternative energy led to the formation of Bold Earth Scientific. A United States Coast Guard Veteran, Andy has always found a sense of purpose in service-related projects and has dedicated his life to making the world a safer, cleaner place for all.

Michelle is a co-founder and CFO of Bold Earth Scientific. Her background is a blend of community leadership, environmental science, behavioral psychology, business administration, and professional writing. She brings a creative, systems based approach to innovation and problem solving, focused on driving real, human centered change. Beyond work in clean energy, she spent over 40 years in service to community: supporting nonprofits, leading programs for children and families, and advocating for inclusive access to the arts, health, education, science, sports, and nature. She believes impactful innovations and solutions are rooted in creativity, empathy, equity, nature, and collaboration - all deeply intertwined.
Dominic Swinn brings nearly two decades of international business, operations, and marketing expertise to Bold Earth Scientific. As the longtime Sales & Marketing Director at BigPulse, he has helped scale and adapt technology solutions for global markets. His earlier work with the Royal Bank of Scotland included optimizing internal systems and supporting global futures trading operations. Dominic’s cross-functional background and global perspective make him a critical force in Bold Earth’s operational strategy and partner relations.
At Bold Earth Scientific, Jeanah leads outreach to vulnerable, rural, and Indigenous communities—building trust and coordinating the introduction of regenerative energy where it’s needed most. She also helps onboard new team members, grounding Bold Earth’s internal culture in shared values, vision, and purpose. Jeanah brings over 20 years of experience in emergency response, mental health advocacy, and nonprofit leadership. As a paramedic, she pioneered trauma-informed care protocols and created Stanislaus County’s first “Zen Room” for first responders. She is also the founder of Nurture in Nature, a nonprofit providing medically supported outdoor experiences that promote healing and belonging.
John has been in the financial services industry for 40+ years. He spent 25 years as an agency Investment Specialist for three major insurance companies (New England, Guardian and MassMutual), and in each case growing them from start-ups to national leaders. Occasionally, having over 100 registered representatives under his supervision. In 2011, John was one of the founding partners of Houston Capital Partners. He is also one of the founding partners of The Pension Professionals, a pension consulting firm, established 27 years ago. His designations include a PhD (Business Administration), CFP® (Certified Financial Professional), CFS (Certified Funds Specialist), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), BCS (Board Certified in Securities), and an AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary). He also holds the Series 7 and 24 securities licenses. Additionally, John is a guest lecturer and a member of the MS in Finance Wealth Advisory Board at the University of Houston. Bold Earth Scientific is honoroed to have him as our financial advisor and a valued team member.
